This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

Andy Ogles introduced a resolution to allow Trump to run for a third term (and more), which gained some traction among left-wing reactionary social posters.

It's a stunt.

As @nlanard.bsky.social reported, Ogles is in hot water with Congressional investigators over his shady campaign finances.

To be clear here, the “good Christian” leaders of the Republican Party are outraged by a solemn plea to show frightened people mercy.

You’d think the bishop gave a sermon inciting an insurrection at the Capitol or something.

Many Americans practice no religion. Whether our collective conscious is religious or secular, however, we must not forget that Trump’s orders on immigration and potentially other matters (e.g. cutting Medicaid that serves the poor) deserve full-throated condemnation.
We should not fall into the trap of assessing President Trump’s executive (dictatorial) decrees as “merely” lawless. Make no mistake, they ate. However, they also violate Americans’ deepest-held beliefs about right and wrong

DEI doesn’t mean hiring unqualified people—it means tearing down rigged systems that kept qualified talent out. Giving everyone a fair shot, breaking down barriers that have historically excluded talent. Diversity brings fresh perspectives, drives innovation, and reflects the world being served.

This type of thing can’t be put on someone who is responding the only way he can. Trump tossed our norms way out the window
While I appreciate President Biden trying to protect folks from Trump's revenge prosecutions, what are the implications of the practice of pardoning the innocent? I take that topic on in my new piece. www.msnbc.com/opinion/msnb...
Opinion | You can be sure Trump will follow Biden’s pre-emptive pardons precedent
As bad as the prospect of Trump’s pursuing revenge prosecutions is, the idea of Biden’s pardoning the innocent is potentially worse.
