I've hated a lot of movies. Somehow I'm not going back to complain about Deadpool & Wolverine all the time and making video reviews where I nitpick every last scene the way people hold onto grudges for the Prequels, Snyder, Bayformers, etc.

The reviews can simultaneously be the definitive debunking of the Prequels AND a clever satire of how nerds taking this shit too seriously. If you respond to it earnestly then you just fell for the bit, nerd (It's not nerdy to make feature length reviews of movies you hated though)

The Plinkett character, like Cinema Sins, functions as an easy scapegoat. Despite expressing all of their actual opinions through the character anyway if something exceedingly stupid is said it can be just written off as a joke and satirical of nitpicky nerds.

It cannot be overstated how embarrassing it is for so many people to sandwich their (just barely) credible accusations of racist coding in Jar Jar’s design in between recycled takes from a reviewer who yes, does claim Sam Jackson was nothing more than a diversity hire.
The Plinkett reviews contain an extended sequence where Mike Stoklassa argues that black people don't watch Star Wars, Billy Dee Williams and Samuel Jackson were basically diversity hires, and has some real classy jokes about black people stealing his TV.
