Back before December holiday travel I needed milk but the grocery was out of the dairy stuff. Seeing that soy milk lasted months and I don't hate it, I bought that instead.
It is mostly fine but there some things where it's really weird. And it doesn't seem to work in tea at *all.* :-/

Okay so I can accept LitRPG as a genre, but if more than 5% of your book is just slightly variant stats printouts I do have to wonder who your audience is.

Tried playing Forest Shuffle with mom. The most difficult mechanics were:
- discarding cards to pay for other cards
- bonus effects, specifically: which cards had to match color and that colors already in the forest don't affect you
- discarding cards to pay for other cards

Friends of my parents went to Japan recently and had asked me for recs on what to see, so the other day they all called to talk about their trip.
One thing they talked about was "Tech Town", which is a name for Akihabara I think I have never heard ever.

Back to BG3 again lately and noticing that a whole bunch of things in the game are like "Here is a situation! You can deal with it either by solving a physical puzzle or it will solve itself if you pass a perception/lockpicking check!

So I just read a book where the MC had strict, demanding parents, which was a continual source of pressure/antagonism. Then at the end they randomly flip to being very supportive, explaining that they were only *acting* draconian to ensure the MC *really* wanted what he wants.

I think I do not like the current style of romance novel blurb that splits between two sections each written in 1P from the PoV of a main character.

Apparently Scratch in BG3 will fetch ANYTHING.
Which I found out b/c I threw something on top of a poison gas vent to block it.
Scratch ran in, retrieved it (releasing the poison), ran over a fire trap and caught fire, then fell off a cliff into another gas cloud and ignited it, exploding.
