ICE is hog tying protesters in Portland and removing them on Dollies.

This is dangerous and could cause serious injury.

The Department of Homeland Security thinks it’s a joke.

They’ve shared this video with the tagline “Refuse to Walk? We’ll give you a ride”.

Stay strong Portland.

We've seen the same reporting of the same kinds of claims about how Republican elites really feel since 2016 but... no one speaks up or organizes effectively against Trump and most end up bending the knee or quietly leaving politics

The GAO reports that if we faced the same catastrophic hurricanes as we did last Sept. and Oct., FEMA's response would be severely undermined by Trump's cuts.

We are already seeing an age of disasters enhanced and worsened by climate change. Now is not the time to gut FEMA.
Staff losses at FEMA could compromise disaster response, says watchdog agency
Recent staff losses at the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency, including the departure of two dozen senior leaders, could compromise the agency's ability to respond to natural disasters this year, according to a report by a government watchdog agency.

ICE snipers is just not a thing I want to see ever anywhere
Scoop: A sudden no-bid ICE contract for specialized sniper training has gone to a decorated former Marine who is also the brother of a GOP lawmaker.

Reached by WIRED, he says there was no hookup; 20 years in a reconnaissance unit and even more as an instructor simply left him uniquely qualified.
US Congressman’s Brother Lands No-Bid Contract to Train DHS Snipers
DHS says retired Marine sniper Dan LaLota's firm is uniquely qualified to meet the government’s needs. LaLota tells WIRED his brother, GOP congressman Nick LaLota, played no role in the contract.
