Great response here to the government's Land Use Framework consultation by Rewilding Britain. Consultation closes on April 25th. Please make your views known. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Demand a wilder future for England's land ✊

Right now, the UK Government is working on the first-ever vision for how we use land in England – the Land Use Framework.

📢 Austerity is a public health emergency

Cuts to welfare & public services have worsened health, driving rising mid-life mortality & health inequalities.

Yet, more cuts are coming.

We create an economic system that makes people sick then we punish them for being sick and push them into the types of jobs that will definitely make them even more sick and then make them even poorer which makes them sicker. Explain that logic!
UK Govt to cut benefit spending by more than £5bn a year by 2029/30. Poor/Disabled hit.

Silence on corporate welfare, ending tax perks of the rich.

Aligning tax on dividends and capital gains with wages, and charging national insurance on the same can create £20bn surplus.

Why hurt the poor?
Liz Kendall promises to fix 'broken' benefits system
Measures including restricting eligibility for disability payments are expected to save £50bn by 2030.

The question isn’t IF climate change is making extreme weather worse—it’s how much.

Science can put a number on how many more homes flood, how much more rain a hurricane dumps, how much larger wildfires grow--and how much worse it will get if we don't act now.

The problem is, our government won’t do it.

Quite the opposite - Palantir were awarded a £330 million contract to create a data management system for the NHS.

Yes, that’s right - the same company aiming to give the IDF a “tactical edge” are handling our data.

It’s down to us to tackle them.
