Fascists are desperate for violent disruption they can use an excuse for state violence and power grabs.

They have trouble with mockery, goofiness, and fun.

Yes! I am down on one level for the fact that he's not unquestioningly accepting authority. But when I ask these questions it usually comes down to things like "They took my iPad when iPad time was over" or "They didn't want me to play with cleaner and they tried to take it, so I sprayed them."

His aggressive need to push back against all authority is really nailing my neurotic Good Girl tendencies to the wall at the moment, and I don't know how to talk to him about it apart from "For god's sake, your teacher is not bullying you, she just wants you to follow the rules in class."

Friends, if you have kids, how did you deal with what I hope is a normal developmental thing where your kid thinks everyone who tells them to follow the rules is "a bully?"

Squidling is having some serious struggles with this, and I'm struggling because I'm a Rule Following neurodivergent cis girl.
