~45% of US corn production is now used to make ethanol, mostly for mixing into gasoline.

That's ~13% of all US crop land already used for energy production.

Using some of the same land for solar panels would capture 50-100 times more energy per acre.

Here are three attempts at a "future Keeling curve" ~ none of which are based on increasing emissions above 2023 levels.

My current "future Keeling curve" shows a peak above 550 ppm sometime in the mid 2100's.

We are doing virtually nothing to try and limit global warming to even 4°C.

Let alone to 1.5°C.

Methane concentrations are following the highest IPCC scenario, now at 1938 ppb.

UCLA study reveals that climate change was a major factor in the LA wildfires.
