Just because they were infinitely more preferable than Trump doesn’t mean that Kamala/Hilary would’ve been good. Kamala’s mad dash to be rightwing (partnering with the Cheneys, hardline immigration stance, throwing trans people under the bus, etc) is one of many examples of this
