The Atlantic suggesting, without evidence, that Canada's Global TV broadcasting the '60 Minutes' segment on CECOT that CBS distributed to it may have been an act of "treachery."

in particular very dangerous for the very old and very young.
Only 17.7% of Albertans have gotten immunized. only 55% of those 75 years of age and older.
Please get immunized to protect yourself and those more vulnerable than you.

Heartbreakingly, despite our best efforts, today the Government of Alberta was able to bring an end to the injunction against Bill 26 on the basis of its use of the notwithstanding clause.

This is a cruel and dangerous move by a government that will harm vulnerable young people.

I know people don’t get all excited by “good governance,” but it’s not a sign of good governance to be constantly changing your laws and regulations to prevent entirely foreseeable uses of it.

Peace, order, and something something.
No big deal, but the Alberta government just increased the fee to submit a citizen initiated petition from $500 to $25, 000. After the separatism initiative was approved, but before Corb Lund's coal mining petition gets re-approved. No political shenanigans going on here.

The entire structure is actually based on corruption and self-dealing that weaken American influence and benefit the kleptocrats who are turning public policy to their personal benefit.
