Very disappointed in my alma mater today. Iowa State is NOT a private employer and Caitlyn was NOT speaking on behalf of ISU or anyone but herself. Firing someone for an opinion on social media is a violation of free speech. Period.

The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned.

PSA: If you’re protesting today, turn the biometrics on your phone OFF. No facial recognition, no fingerprint, PASSCODE ACCESS ONLY. Law enforcement can make you unlock your phone with those, but they can’t make you use your passcode. That gives you a case in court should they go that route anyway.
