HBOMax has started showing a 'remastered' 4K Mad Men and they’ve messed things up so during Roger’s oyster vomit scene you can now see the crew men with the vomit hose on the right

Been messing around with inserting this prompt into LLM conversations and it massively improves the “tends to over validate the user” issue. I kind of feel like consumer models should all have this by default

On Nebula now (with bonus commentary), premiering on YouTube in an hour. Turns out, the MPAA aren't the most notorious or the most ironic font pirates of all time. Not by a long shot.

It IS lazy though. On the part of the streaming services, that is. They could use a fraction of the budget they allocate to whatever AI nonsense they are spending billions on and improve their subtitle rendering across the board to at least support a bare minimum like multiple lines, positioning etc
See, this is fan logic. Fansubs don't have to jump through the arbitrary rules of streaming services. Netflix specifically forbids burned in subs, and other bigger streamers do too.
This is done because of LAZINESS! Fansubs when they're in the mood can make captions so perfect that you would think is official localization. "compatibility"? Just burn in the image.

On February 21st, 2021, I created and released a patch for Bloodborne which makes the game run at 60fps. Today I received a DMCA takedown notification on behalf of Sony Interactive Entertainment asking that I remove links to the patch I posted on the internet, so I've now done so
