Republicans get in line and then, when the seat is open, nominate crazy conservatives.

Democrats quit the party and don't participate in the primary, then complain about the nominee and boycott the General Election.

I was just talking to someone abo about the collapse of the umbrella repair industry, I shit you not.
A couple of weeks ago, Trump struggled with a broken umbrella as he boarded Air Force One.

Let me tell you how we got to this point — and the tragic downfall of the noble umbrella. 🧵

This current American presidential administration is run by people who are quite obviously mentally ill, and we need to start talking about that.

Let's be clear; the Senate Dems' government funding bill received a majority, 47-45, but was blocked by a GOP filibuster.

The Senate GOP's funding bill failed, receiving 44 yes votes to 48 no votes.

Please make sure you report accurately.

Forcing people to pay $130 for a passport in order to vote is just a Jim Crow poll tax by another name.

It is blatantly unconstitutional.

Today I was at a coffee shop working on a paper and got stuck listening to an unemployed middle aged man pontificating to his grandma (who kept shaking her head and saying “it’s not right”) & her friend about how tariffs are great, Elon Musk is great,

I walked all over Chicago with my then-9-month-old baby a couple of years ago. Everyone we encountered was lovely. I’d definitely go back. The only ugliness I saw was the Trump Tower.
Trump: "In major cities like New York, Chicago, and Washington, mothers can't walk their children to the park without fear of being shot, or killed, or raped, or anything. Women can't ride the subway without worrying that a hoodlum will shove them onto the train tracks."

I have to say: Chuck Schumer is a weak man and a fool. This was the one cudgel Dems had. Now it's up to the courts which we new from the beginning were at best going to slow some things down. There's 18 hours left to somehow bring additional pressure to bear. It will be really hard to do that.

Everybody's upset abt this or that thing Dems did or didn't do at the faux-SOTU. Poor messaging, poor this, bad that. Very few of those things matter much or will be things we'll remember in a couple months. What they do on the CR really does matter. A LOT. That shld be 10x more focus anything else.

I was actually upset when he stepped aside. I should have known we were fucked when folks started attacking their own candidate. Fools.
Hard to believe that just three weeks ago, we had steady, strong, rational leadership that respected the Constitution.

Anyone else miss @JoeBiden? 👋

This is your mission. We take our power back now at the local and state level. Stop waiting for a national hero. It’s you. Get to work.
