a fortunate quirk is that doing food and medical support for impoverished children, foreign and domestic, *also* is about the biggest bang it is possible to get for our buck.

I at least appreciate big time it's decriminalized in metro Atlanta now. They used to throw the book at people over minor infractions not THAT long ago, and now the most you can get is a $75 ticket that isn't even considered a misdemeanor

The dispensaries here only have farm bill loophole-type stuff, which can be nice (I have some gummies I got from a dispensary in midtown Atlanta on my desk!!) but there's no way to buy quality flower around here that way.

I get that it comes across as better customer service when you're as speedy as possible, but I'd rather things take longer and to get an accurate time estimate rather than anticipate someone coming over most of the day.

That's honestly fine!! But "morning" with him more often than not means mid-afternoon in reality, and I wish he'd just be honest, lol.

The idea of a wealth tax has gained considerable popularity in the dozen years since Thomas Piketty first popularized it with his book, Capital for the 21st Century. I have always been a skeptic myself, not because I have any trouble with taxing billionaires, but I think it faces enormous practical and political obstacles.
