We can already see a lot of drainage issues and pooling water.
Besides the issues with water borne parasites/bugs... This is a death zone for hurricanes.

After years of only occasionally playing around with sobel edge detection operations in my art, I'm finding some of the filters/scripts I've been mucking about with of late, are starting to produce useful results. In this case, using various configurations of them on portions of the two base paintings I scanned to start this (one, acrylics on hardboard, and the other various inks on watercolor paper), and then re-stitching and post-processing them into something a little less analog than I intended, but with a layered result I'm liking for a change. The name Imperium of Ghosts is a semi-subtle nod to the form of Catholicism practiced in the Azores Islands.
