Eby repealed a carbon tax that had been working in BC for almost 2 decades in order to make gas a bit cheaper, and handed out $410 million to drivers for basically no reason. And now there's no money for active transport grants. 300 people a year are killed in BC in motor vehicle crashes.

The EU has announced plans to blacklist 118 more vessels in its 19th sanctions package. Yet there have been no new US designations this year.

Before (2024) / After (2025) under the aerial subway near Jaurès, Paris 19. The old general traffic lane with a painted strip for bikes became a full bike lane, closed to cars. As it need less space, the sidewalk was widened. Now people walk here, before that, it was a a dead-end trap for them.

I was asked on FB why I referred to Yves Engler as "Putin's chum". ⬇️ is just from his platform doc. Note that he is openly violating the #NDP rules, suggesting that he either wants to be kicked out or is just clueless.

Engler’s leadership campaign policy calls for halting all Canadian support (including diplomatic support and medical supplies) for Ukraine and for dropping all economic sanctions against Putin’s petro-fascist regime. Engler also suggests that Putin’s regime is being unjustly demonized, presumably regarding well documented war crimes.
