part of what got south korea out under the thumb of authoritarian dictatorships and to real elections (1987) and free and fair ones (1992) were large, mass protests and demonstrations.

my country elected a fascist 10 years ago and he's now arguably the most unpopular pm we've ever had and we still can't get rid of him because once a fascist gets into power, typically you do not get them out without a whole lot of mass violence. Don't be like us.
I'm headed right now to vote for Kamala Harris. I hope you do too. I don't know how else to put this without sounding too earnest, or like an asshole, but you can't easily undo fascism. I am voting for her and expect to yell at her for good. Only under her administration is that a real possibility.

Compassion for Trump voters is them getting to participate in a free society and strong economy under President Harris. They won’t be arrested. Their businesses won’t be penalized. Their states won’t be deprived of resources. All things that Trump has RUN ON doing to us. That’s compassion.
