A reminder - before Trump, MAGA, Musk and Fox rewrote history - that this is what the entire country agreed had happened five years ago today:

We need a new generation of leaders who are the voices of democracy, freedom, social justice, & the rule of law.

A new generation that renews the “we” in “we the people.”

Instead of fretting over Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party should embrace him as part of its future.

Pardoned by Trump after convicted of 12 counts of bank fraud and tax evasion. Don’t have to pay back $17.8 million in restitution or serve 12 year sentence. Not Somalis.

If I said trump was a dead man walking and should be put to sleep, I’d probably get a visit from his goons. But I thank him for giving attention to Colbert because I just watched Colberts Canceled Christmas: The Last Noel, and it was perfection! #colbert

Kimmel after Trump again demanded his firing:

“If you’re watching tonight, which I presume you are, how about this: I’ll go when you go. OK? It’ll be a team. Let’s ride off into the sunset together, like Butch Cassidy and the Suntan Kid.

"Until then, if I may borrow your phrase: Quiet, piggy.”

There have been a lot of disgusting and surreal moments in the Oval Office over the last 10 months that disgrace the United States, but Trump publicly dismissing the brutal assassination of a Washington Post journalist as insignificant and blowing smoke up the ass of a despotic butcher is up there

This is the president of the United States taking a break from gold-and-marble interior renovations to say he’ll defy a court order to feed hungry Americans.

Nero would be proud.

Trump is now going against his own administration's plan to partially fund SNAP.

He's demanding Democrats end the shutdown and let health insurance costs skyrocket for millions of people, otherwise food assistance won't be released for millions of hungry people ahead of the holidays.

Hello?

The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.

Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.

The people who need help are not the problem.

It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
