This does multiple things at once: works to further dismantle the postal service–a public utility that this administration has been itching to develop a private alternative to–and it is a further attempt to impact elections and vote-by-mail, one of the tools they need to destroy to keep power.
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

I legitimately used to get sick every time we took a vacation. Wearing masks on planes/travel days has been a total game changer for me personally. It’s incredibly easy and effective!

The niece didn’t get quality time with us due to work and illness so naturally we made up for it by taking her out for hot chocolate and an espresso brownie for breakfast before a 4 1/2 hour car ride with her parents.
