I don’t have an answer as to what Delaware should do to preserve its revenues.

But I do know that in every instance, capitulating to fascists’ demands - even if they are couched as “business friendly” - won’t save you. There is no capitulation that will satisfy them.

So maybe don’t?

A state's refusal to recognize bodily autonomy leading to an interstate legal battle, with one state demanding delivery of a person for conduct that is lawful in the other state, felt...familiar!

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.
Tesla Paid Zero Federal Income Tax in 2024, Despite $2.3 Billion in Income
This brings Tesla’s average tax rate over the past three years to 0.4 percent.

Trump and Musk want to destroy them. Call your reps and demand they push back -- especially if they're Republicans.

I especially liked the way Vance's tweet was worded you might have gotten the impression the racist DOGE boy tweets were way in the past, when they were from the past few months.
Notable that Elons crew of incels and edgelords are full fledged men for the purposes of being given the keys to car to run the govt. But for the purposes of being accountable for their actions they’re just kids from good families with youthful indiscretions.

1) George Floyd protests
2) Public health treating COVID as real
3) HR saying "we've received complaints about your, um, 'jokes'"
4) Press 1 for English
5) Pronouns in bio

this is an important constraint. trump&co may not care about what happens to them legally. but a career civil servant at doj is going to want to preserve their bar license.
4/ One other mediating factor is that judges can sanction lawyers/refer them for bar discipline. So if Trump admin ignores court orders, they start running out of lawyers in good standing—even lawyers who share the admin’s ideology—willing to put their names on things in court.
