Tyson is shutting down its Lexington, Nebraska plant in January 2026. That’s 3,200 workers gone in one shot, the largest plant shutdown in company history.

Blame Trump’s tariff chaos and the lowest cattle inventories in decades. Tariffs jack up costs. Supply shrinks. Plants close. Towns hollow out.

Talk about the feds trying to boss the states around and commandeer them, which the Supreme Court has made clear violates the 10th Am. This is a down-the-middle state function that the feds have no business monkeying in, let alone trying to control.
and by the way, Cong has the funding authority.
Republicans announce the entire state of Indiana will be defunded if they do not obey Trump by gerrymandering their state.

“Roads will not be paved. Guard bases will close. Major projects will stop.”

Photos from Epstein’s estate confirm that Trump was far more involved in child predator Jeffrey Epstein’s orbit.

The DOJ must release the full Epstein files, not the White House-approved version.

End the cover-up. The American people deserve the truth.
🚨 BREAKING: Oversight Dems received 95,000 new photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate. These disturbing images raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.

Time to end this White House cover-up. Release the files!

Art of the deal I suppose … claim victory before the ink is dry. Or in his case usually … before the bill comes due.
Two peace deals that Trump took credit for appear to be unraveling at the same time:

Fighting has not abated in the Democratic Republic of Congo or between Cambodia and Thailand in the wake of Trump-backed "agreements".

He doesn’t see himself and “one of us” and never did (looking at you maga cult members). If you still think this asshat who offers free to roam $1MM visas with his ugly mug shot on them cares about you or us, then there is no hope. He knows plenty of criminals with $1MM

With legal fights on the way, those writing seven-figure checks shouldn’t assume their cards are coming soon.

Same disclaimer … I still cannot believe I am actually agreeing with ol’ Rand again but he is one of a few from either side that are taking a stand against this regime. They should see the unedited video and Hegseth SHOULD be put on trial for war crimes.

Hegseth is seditious … not Kelly.
Rand Paul: "It has not been the history of the US to kill people who are out of combat. Even if there is a war, which most of us dispute -- that a bunch of people who are unarmed allegedly running drugs is a war -- we still don't kill people when they're incapacitated ... it's illegal and immoral."

Today (again) we find out if SCOTUS has any integrity left. If they remove agency independence, we continue the slow death of our democracy. This is bigger than the press it’s getting which is exactly how authoritarianism looks at this stage.Too much chaos to see the real threats. #scotus #nokings

I'm an attorney and I want to be clear about this. The Trump isn't just being lenient on white collar crime, they are selling pardons to big money interests who kiss their ass and seeking to prosecute enemies of Trump.

If we're not at war, Pete Hegseth is a murderer. If we are at war, Pete Hegseth is still a murderer. He's a murderer. And you don't need to go to The Hague to hold him accountable because there are perfectly good, American laws AGAINST MURDER.
My latest in @thenation.com
Pete Hegseth Should Be Charged With Murder
No matter how you look at the strikes on alleged “drug boats”—as acts of war or attacks on civilians—Hegseth has committed a crime and should be prosecuted.

A reminder to a nation with way too many people untethered to facts and truth: There’s no such thing as “The Department of War.” It doesn’t exist. Only Congress has the power to create and name executive departments & agencies. So it’s still The Department of Defense.

Thanks
