Today was my birthday. I don't really enjoy celebrating it. It always seems like an inconvenience in this busy time between Thanksgiving & Christmas. Anyway, my sister asked if I wanted anything & I told her I would much rather she gave to an environmental group or plant seeds. Just love nature.

The scientific name for the Pied-billed Grebe is Podilymbus podiceps, which was derived from "feet at the buttocks" - which this picture shows very well. One of the cutest birds around the harbor. I suspect @podilymbuspodiceps.bsky.social may like this bird? #Birds 🪶 #EastCoastKin #Photography.

My 2 cents:
- Trump saw Mamdani’s meteoric rise. He beat everyone, including him and the oligarchs.
- Mamdani ran on affordability and fighting for the working class.
- Trump doesn’t care about either but he wants to be seen as such.
- Embracing Mamdani is his way of co-opting these issues.
