This has been coming from the beginning. All major democracy-supporting NGOs and foundations have their legal complaints already drafted. And in time, perhaps not even much time, they will win their cases. What is needed most in the meantime is courage. Keep saying what you think, doing what you do.

Love that for them.
Yesterday I wrote the only thing that can weaken MAGA is MAGA. The extremists will turn on each other.

It's happening tonight.

Political violence and threats are not the answer.

This is a watershed moment — we can choose to stay silent and live in fear, or we can choose to be loud for peace and compassion.

We must work together to stop this crisis, and it should start from the top with the President.

It is absolutely insane to me that we're having a debate over whether or not the rightwing deploys violent rhetoric within days of a Fox News personality calling for homeless people to be killed by lethal injection. There is no excuse for this obliviousness. It's unacceptable.

I meannnnn, it's also the racists and misogynists.
Guys, it's the oligarchs. If you want to blame someone for 2024, blame the oligarchs. Anyone telling you to blame someone else is part of the oligarchy. Dark money has been to blame since citizens united.

Ignore the headline. This is the quote that matters: "If I see a reason to do political spending in the future, I will do it."

Elon Musk’s DOGE was an abject failure. Musk said the cost-cutting task force would save $2 trillion. But even its own estimate says that just $160 billion has been saved — and at tremendous cost to our country.

That’s one reason why Musk is so hated by average Americans.

This is what leadership looks like. He’s meeting with officials, hoping to see Kilmar, & sending a message loud & clear: we won’t stop until he’s home.

Voters want Kilmar García brought home — and they’re pissed Trump’s thumbing his nose at a Supreme Court ruling. This isn’t “tough on crime,” it’s lawless, un-American trash — and folks know it.
