I've always felt that Johnson and Farage put self-interest over the national interest - hence their dallying with Putin and his oligarchs. But directly colluding with a foreign government to take down the BBC feels like an act of supreme treachery

The right wing media displaying their true colours now.
They’re going full Corbyn on SKS; lies, confected stories, misinformation spreading, continual negative stories, massive anti Labour bias.
It just shows no matter who the leader of the Labour Party is, the media will not accept any of them.

Idiots.

Flip flopping confirms them as ditherers. They will need to do it next year or the year after - closer to the next election.

The Tories cut NI just before the election when they knew they had lost. An unfunded act of national sabotage. Reverse that cut or rebalance tax to the same value.

Farage a total charlatan
If Farage had his way he'd remove free at the point of use for the NHS and kill off the BBC. He's a nasty piece of work.

There's lots you can and should criticise the BBC for.

But it's our BBC - and it's important.

Great to speak to CNN - Donald Trump shouldn't have his hands anywhere near our public services.
Zack Polanski on President Trump, "It's difficult to call him anything other than a fool"

"This is sociopathic behaviour"

"He is toxic, misogynistic, racist"

"I'm not a fan of Trump"

Christiane Amanpour, "It's pretty clear"

Public service announcement.

Starmer isn’t “about to call a general election”, no matter how excited Chris Mason is, or how gleefully the Corbyn nut jobs repeat the bullshit from “unnamed sources”

Calm down.

Ends.

The reason I hate the never ending opinion polls on what may happen at the next GE is because I think they're destabilising and damaging to our democracy. Sensible people know these polls are meaningless but the media leap on them, allowing them to set the agenda and endlessly platform Farage.

In anticipation of the Tory and media outrage about any tax rises, here's a few manifesto pledges the Tories broke. Build 300,000 new homes, end rough sleeping, ban no fault evictions, build 40 new hospitals, no new tax rises, cut NHS waiting lists, end child poverty, levelling up @lbc.co.uk

Food banks 2010 approx 35,
2024 approx 1,711
Homelessness 2010 approx 1,768, 2024 approx 327,940
NHS Waiting lists 2010 approx 4.34m,

The Labour Government cannot fix this in 15 months, they inherited a huge mess. @lbc.co.uk
