I think it's really cool that we have democratic leadership that is largely silent about this issue. A leadership that believes making a "tsk tsk" press release once every month counts as a form of political opposition while otherwise dropping the issue in its entirety.

considering over half of adult Americans can’t read past a sixth grade level and many of them didn’t see school as anything other than “torture chamber with desks I had to be in for 12 years” yeahhhhh critical thinking is not being discussed in the home
I feel sympathy and anger that critical thinking is not being taught in the schools or in the home. This is intentional by the government but parents are abdicating their responsibility too.
