This deal allows 49,000 Chinese EVs into Canada each year.

For perspective, Tesla sold 55,000 vehicles in Canada in 2024, but less than 20,000 in 2025.
Canada’s going to start getting some Chinese EVs!

I just hope this quota deal is the first step to getting BYD to set up a factory in exchange for broader access.

Canada’s AI Minister “has been accused of naively embracing AI rather than working to mitigate its harms, and of listening mostly to voices from the tech sector—those who stand to benefit most from rapid AI adoption.”

Good article on the issues with Evan Solomon’s approach to tech and AI.

Quite frankly, it’s outrageous that Mark Carney is cutting Statistics Canada. If he was Stephen Harper or Pierre Poilievre, I feel like this would be getting a lot more backlash.

Carney of all people should know the importance of high-quality data and information about the country.

ICE’s murder of Renee Good has been a clarifying moment — and not only for Americans.

It also exposed some Canadians.

Notably, the Toronto Sun’s Ottawa bureau chief — who called the ICE bullets fired at Good “well-deserved.”

Let’s talk Canadian media the impact of who has a platform:

In Canada, call or email Evan Solomon and demand he do his job as “Minister of AI and Digital innovation” to stop the CSAM and non-consensual porn. X should be banned in this country.

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to get off US tech and I put together a guide so you find alternatives too. I hope you find it helpful!

For years (and YEARS) I've been saying do not trust VAERS reports. There is no vetting, no statistical relevancy. It's pure anecdote.
Pretty much ANY statistic you see cited to frighten you about vaccines comes from the VAERS database. (Including the recent evidence-free missive from Vinay Prasad). Here's why VAERS can NEVER be a proper source for population-level vaccine risk estimates.
