What's everyone's literary opinion that has everyone else saying "Hey! Not cool"?

Mine is James Joyce's writing style was so dreary that it makes it a challenge to fully read his work on the dreary reality that many Irish folks once lived through; it's why I never finished The Dubliners in school.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court will hear our case challenging President Trump's executive order restricting birthright citizenship.

The 14th Amendment is clear: Babies born in the U.S. are U.S. citizens. We look forward to seeing the president in court so we can put this matter to rest.

NEW: The Trump administration sent Head Start employees a six-page list of "prohibited words" for grant applications, including terms like: disabilities, tribal, Black, and women.

The administration wants to erase communities and block access to early childhood services. We'll see them in court.

You actually did a superb job for your first time. 👏
I tried drawing with charcoal for the first time and it’s so hard to control. I don’t think I have the patience to draw with charcoal again. I have so much respect for people who have mastered this medium

Apparently, there is a discussion about pirating books and libraries existing but not everyone having access going on. Not everyone can afford books nor does everyone have access so the piracy angle is an interesting discussion to be had.

I'm not going to weigh in on this one though.

Maybe it’s just my brain chemistry changing, but I’m starting to enjoy books in the way mid-2000’s library propaganda said I would.

The Coast Guard reversed its 'swastikas aren't all that bad' policy just hours after the Washpost broke the story.

It's both surprising, and good, to see that one government agency these days is capable of being embarrassed, and changing course quickly.

In reversal, Coast Guard again classifies swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The new order came hours after The Post reported the service would instead classify such symbols as “potentially divisive” under guidelines set for release next month.

People are generally more than a single defining thing as individuals. If you had the opportunity to start a multi-faceted business, what would yours include / offer?

I think I'd want to start a Barnes & Noble style library cafe that offers books, movies, art, & a selection of my specialty dishes.

It’s not that we didn’t want the shutdown to end, it’s the fact that millions of people suffered throughout this shutdown and it was for nothing. That’s the most upsetting part.
