I really, really dislike Bloodlines 2. That being said, they weren’t trying to emulate the original in any way. Chinese Room devs did their own spin on the property, and it should be judged solely on those terms.
It really is wild that we got an entire global industry of hateful TLJ videos that were 10 hours long.
However hard they tried to articulate a real criticism(there are plenty), every single one boiled down to the most embarrassing misogynistic spectacle you've ever seen.

Sorry to break it to everyone, but Rogue One was an incoherent disaster during production. It only achieved watchability by Gilroy stepping in and doing massive rewrites/reshoots to connect mindless action sequences into some kind of whole.
