Opinion | I helped defend Reagan’s would-be assassin. Law firms that fear Trump, take note.
My law firm represented John Hinckley Jr. despite the financial risks. It was a matter of principle.

Hi, BlueSky. It's Hillary.

I've joined up here to help get the word out about an important election in Wisconsin tomorrow, and other ways to defend our democracy against those who think votes can be bought.

Thank you, my friend, for speaking out for freedom, justice, and the country we love.

30 years ago, America promised to defend Ukraine -- in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nukes and its Black Sea fleet

America is now breaking those promises

So for every nuke and ship Ukraine gave up, the US should be forced to compensate them with a new one

Fair is fair

Also, and I know I'm FAR from the first to note this, but every time the camera lingers on Isabella Rossellini in her blue velvet my heart explodes with joy. Such a magnificent tribute.

The life expectancy of theaters is already precarious but will be even more so if people being born now or a few years ago have no idea of, or appreciation for, the theatrical experience. Start them young!

Sean Baker is a good egg who keeps making movies about the marginalized and forgotten. Glad he won. Although it's a crime that Denis Villeneuve wasn't nominated.

After Trump’s shithole comment, Conan deliberately diverted his travel show to highlight the beauty of Haiti. The result was genuine, funny, and some of the most moving television I’ve seen in a while.
In advance of the Oscars tonight: a lot of comedy heroes let you down. They become unfunny/bitter/closed minded. Conan is the exception. He has grown & evolved & is funnier than he’s ever been. He’s also an extremely kind and lovely human. Just a sincere post to say: Conan rules.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

It’d be good if Jeff Bezos had to explain why Thiessen—the famous torture advocate and less famous trade war advocate—is staying on in the new personal liberty and free markets regime and being allowed to publish unrelated harangues of foreign leaders, but I shan’t hold my breath.
dump the post, but thiessen’s been a piece of shit for decades and he’s been there for a long time
this appears to be the new regime oped page at wapo. WOW.
