To anyone who think S Korea’s ex president got off easy with a 5 year prison sentence, he’s got 8 more trials and sentences to go… And just imagine what the US would be like if someone else had at the bare minimum gone to jail for 5 years for an insurrectionist coup attempt?
Court has sentenced Yoon to five years in prison for obstruction of justice and other charges. Remember this is the first of eight cases related to his 12.3 martial law bid in 2024.

A People's History of the United States is what I need to read. I think we have more in common with American colonists and the politicians have more in common with the colonial politicians than I want to admit.
The last time I read about early American history, I was severely depressed and don't remember anything. Sooooo, I'm going to try again, since most of us Americans have absolutely no idea what happened over 250 years ago governmentally and how that relates to now.
