I don't think NYT should know peace until they divulge the full chain of decision making that led to the laundering of Nazi propaganda against a leading anti-fascist politician the same day fascism was codified in Congress.

This is what I’d like to know. I know it’s naive, but my mind reels watching the “ordinary” people casually doing this, so blatantly anti-free speech
If anyone recognizes the secret police in this video (even with their masks) please let me know via email or Signal.

I'd like to file FOIA requests and it's helpful to identify people so you can instruct a federal agency where they should look for records. (John Smith's email account, etc)
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

There are real pros & cons to using Substack for most people, especially if you've invested time in it already, or your livelihood is tied up in it. I get it. But an explicitly anti-fascist consortium asking progressives to sign up for a platform funded by and pushing fascism is just not strategic.

Frack Andrew Cuomo.
My legal bills as a nonparty will top $2 million before Cuomo’s legal abuse is over.

“I’ve spent roughly $1.5 million on lawyers so far…a figure that doesn’t include “hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of trauma therapy.”

@palando.bsky.social This again. At this point they’re doing it on purpose, not just too dumb to learn the lesson year after year and year. Right?

The billionaire owner, who unveiled an AI tool that generates opposing perspectives to be displayed on opinion stories, was unaware the new tool had created pro-KKK arguments.

The Army deleted my “Why I served” video where I talked about how I decided I wanted to attend West Point/join the Army after one of the cadets my family used to sponsor died in combat. Probably deleted because she was the first black woman to be CSM at West Point.

Jesus. Extra points for literariness
It reads like a horror script. No one knows how he got there. He's always in the background with a creepy expression, wearing a kid on his head. Whenever anyone speaks on camera, his voice comes out. And he's sneaking into all the buildings, multiplying via lil bro clones, swiftly offing everyone.

You say: they shutdown USAID.

You mean: they illegally broke in to a secure facility over a weekend, hijacked sensitive data on vulnerable people and US businesses, destroyed property Americans paid for, cut off resources for sick and hungry families, and fired Americans across the country.

You are MEMBERS OF CONGRESS.

If they threaten you with arrest for trying to access a site you are lawfully entitled to access, YOU MAKE THEM FUCKING ARREST YOU.

YOU MAKE THEM SLAP THE CUFFS ON A CONGRESSMAN LIVE ON TV, YOU MAKE THEM FUCKING DO IT.
Members of Congress say they were just denied entry to USAID headquarters on orders of Elon Musk and DOGE and were told to contact the State Department for any further information.

Notably Tarrio and Rhodes both had terrorism enhancements to their sentences. (Tarrio was sentenced by a Trump-appointed judge.)
Jan 6 was investigated and largely prosecuted as domestic terrorism. The pardons should be reported and spoken of accordingly. An endorsement of terrorism. Trump sprung his terrorist network - including, by extension, himself.
