I imagine there are a lotta guys who joined ICE who regret it but can't get out because they would have to return bonus money they've already spent, probably on groceries.

As the modern right is really quite radical, even extreme -- not just stopping progress like classic conservatives, but rapidly dragging us backward with fascistic fervour; how do they respond to being told people only call them "conservative" because that's how they self-identify?

While it's certainly true the US founders made really stupid choices when designing a country that are the reason you can't fix anything right now, I gotta say, the real root of the problem was not hanging all the traitors after the Civil War.

If you're writing a horror series (Channel Zero) in which people spend a lot of time calling out in search of a character, do you name that character "Margot"?
If it's supposed to be a joke, it gets old quickly and pulls you out of the story every time; if not... same effect, but how could you not?
