I will be headed back to school soon. I teach 1st grade at a title one school in the Metro Detroit area.

I would love this contact paper to cover up some rust on my desk.

Any help would be amazing🥹

New research from MIT found that those who used ChatGPT can’t remember any of the content of their essays.

Key takeaway: the product doesn’t suffer, but the process does. And when it comes to essays, the process *is* how they learn.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.

They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

France also gave us this land as American soil.

Where do educators stand on AI?

Back in 2023, @pewresearch.org asked K-12 teachers about how they view the use of AI tools in education.

While a large percentage were either uncertain or on the fence, 25% drew a clear line in the sand declaring the tools cause “more harm than benefit.”
