Outlaw leaf blowers. They're everywhere all the time now, and it makes me wanna die.
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
All of this is an extension of the military industrial complex and the police state, and it's a distinction that matters bc we have slowly normalized murder in the streets. Unwarranted search and seizure. Cops dog-piling individuals. Shooting panicked arrestees. If it feels familiar, it is.

FYI: Judge Ellis (Chicago ICE case) noted in November that video evidence shows ICE "brake-checked other motorists in an attempt to force accidents that agents could then use as justifications for deploying force."

It's 2017 all over again, and we're not allowed to have news that isn't filtered through the Blumpkin Menace. No breaks. If you talk about job numbers, we have to ask what his OPINION of those numbers is. Who gives a shit?

He does this because it works. The American public hears the bickering and tunes out. It's like a parent that can't arbitrate who ate the bigger slice of birthday cake. It's just too much. Better to pick a side and turn off all critical thinking.

Very surprising that the president who forced himself on women and girls without facing any consequences thinks he can force himself on countries without facing any consequences.

That time a professional journalist got mad at me for agreeing with them. I think we've all been there at least once, but it's always baffling.
What’s the funniest reason someone got mad at you on Bluesky this year?

Capone went to prison for tax evasion, not all the other stuff he did. The general strategy of prosecution is that you never know what will stick, so try it all. I mean, I'd try him for crossing against a light if I thought it would put him where he needs to be.

Doss Discourse made a video briefly covering some of the historic major wins of the Democratic party. There's a lot around FDR and LBJ, but there's also multiple economic revivals the Dems can accept. And his point was, how many times are we expected to turn things around for folks w/o common sense?

When the press describes Trump's "power grab" on birthright citizenship, you have to ask, whose power? Our power. Not the senate, house, or the supreme court. Our power. Remember that when you read all those news articles.

And there's my senator, right behind him, cosigning every single racist word with his presence. There you are, Ted. You schmuck. Idiot. Jerk.
Trump, continued: "What the Somalian people have done to Minnesota is not even believable. It’s not even believable. And a lot of it starts with the governor. A lot of it starts with Barack HUSSEIN Obama, because that’s when people started coming in... They want to kiss our country good night."

Can we inspire regime change by telling the world our leader poops his pants daily? I don't know, but I'm willing to try.
This man is going to force us to watch as he sails into senility, shitting and farting toward oblivion.
