Fish cranial kinesis model is now listed in my Etsy shop! Hopefully useful for showing the mechanism that opens and closes a teleost fish's mouth.

I’m going to have an exciting art shake-up this month. 🫨

I still have a few of originals on ebay, including this beautiful framed thylacine skeleton: tinyurl.com/4aeptvk4

We also have lots of bits and bobs on ebay. Including fossils, thylacine collectibles etc.
An oak-gall ink thylacine skeleton which was drawn into a Cambridge museum gift-bag. The thylacine skeleton fades in and out of the gift-bag typeface.

I’m writing an essay on death & resurrection (of species, for obvious reasons), I want to include myths of resurrected dead people/animals; this easy for the Western Canon, elsewhere’s is more challenging. Anyone know of non-western examples where the dead are resurrected? 💀🪦🧪 🐋🍃 1/n

Don't make me tap the sign

Large language models are slot machines that pay out in confidence, not information

If the information is bad (it often is) no one cares

But if the confidence was bad no one would use it 🤔

Luckily for the compulsive use companies want to promote, it's always confident

you don’t understand bro, if we didn’t lie, no one would buy our product 😩
Consider the implications if ChatGPT started saying "I don't know" to even 30% of queries
- a conservative estimate based on the paper's analysis of factual uncertainty in training data. Users accustomed to receiving confident answers to virtually any question would likely abandon such systems rapidly.

Hi guys, did you already know there are competitions for window tinting? With better commentators than most of the tennis matches I’ve watched on ESPN? (Low bar I know)

Anyway if you need to procrastinate harder than you’ve ever procrastinated before, I got you
