The question media should be asking: if Minneapolis only needs 600 police officers to perform all general law enforcement activities in the city, why did Trump send 3,000 federal agents to execute a statutorily and constitutionally *much* smaller task?

Answer? He wanted a *war*.

This. I am done returning to the status quo of what got us here. I want universal healthcare. I want a maximum wage tied to the minimum wage. I want omnipresent, cheap public transit and walkable neighborhoods. I want Supreme Court and police reform, and I want the rich to pay their fair share.
We need to pick up this Overton Window and throw it as far as we can. Stop waiting for shit to “be popular” and start advocating for what is transparently right.

They should release ALL of the Epstein files, interacted and start to make arrests.
Democrats should release some files from the Epstein Estate.

They should do it tomorrow.

Destroying USAID will go down in history as one of the worst Trump foreign policy decisions in 2025. USAID needed reform, not dissolution. China didn't shut down its Belt & Road Initiative (BRI). Unilateral disarmament is not a rational strategy for competing with China.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable.

We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

Democrats must remember this — and act on it.

A huge scandal.

Bari Weiss has destroyed the credibility of @cbsnews.com in record time.

It’s almost impressive.

Almost.
