The so-called Department of War has banned nearly 600 books this year from military bases or schools. They’ve targeted books that “promote gender idealogy” or “DEI.” Not surprisingly my book, DOOR BY DOOR (written by Meeg Pincus, illustrated by me) is one of those banned books. 1/

One of the questions: Will the media step up and report as such? Yes, the conservative media owns the modes of mass comms. But ostensibly, large mainstream outlets who purport to speak truth to power etc have leaders who are watching things unfold and understand the stakes. Will they be as honest?

But the problem goes deeper: he spread Netanyahu propaganda that the mass killings of civilians in Gaza—including 20K+ kids—is Iranian fake news.

law enforcement officers to execute federal law. Id. at 1051-52. The President's determination
was simply untethered to the facts.
