I've finally gotten to play Pokemon D&D again in a oneshot one of my players graciously offered to host. It's been a lot of fun! This is the guy I'm playing, and he's a funny little guy. Until he gets big. Klay is a Path of the Giant Barbarian (reflavored to be a demi-Gigantimax)

I can forgive player-centric sexuality in Baldur's Gate 3 because it's what I would politely describe as "progressive enough" and because it isn't really ABOUT gender or sexuality or family as major themes (unless you play Durge, but that's a special case).
In Hades 2 it's much less forgivable.

But that's because the game isn't really queer per se, it's just letting you romance whoever you want. It's bisexuality as ludonarrative convenience, not an actual desire to put forth a bisexual character or narrative.
