As a queer Chicano life is terrifying rn so I bought vintage furniture to remind myself that the war is not right outside my door. I had a self care day of buying books, 1920s furniture, and a shit ton of more books. I got a new desk and chair but the desk I gotta pick up on Monday. Excuse my floors

My doctor put me on phentermine during the day and barbiturates to go to sleep. I feel like a Vaudeville teenager with an evil mom trying to get me on the big screen only it’s my doctor making me lose weight. Although having to tap dance in front of the ghost of Louie B.Mayer felt off the books.

Writing is very difficult when you can’t write while at home because it has too many distractions but you have panic attacks about the idea of going outside to the library or local cafe. Having autism means that I need a million conditions to be met just to be able to focus.
