This is not about Bovino or Noem. They need to go.

This is about Stephen Miller - he has been masterminding and leading Trump's immigration regime of terror. Until Miller is gone from the White House, nothing will change.

As long as Miller is there - he will run the show as the de facto POTUS.
Gregory Bovino Gets Demoted
The Border Patrol chief was the public face of a traveling immigration crackdown on cities governed by Democrats.

This is what 7 House Democrats voted with Republicans to fund. This is what Hakeem Jeffries didn't whip votes against. This is what Gavin Newsom said *wasn't* fascism.

Anyone who doesn't commit to abolishing ICE should lose their job.
ICE killed another Minneapolitan in cold blood
Initial report is that two observers got into a shoving match with eight agents, one observer was wrestled to the ground, and then an ICE agent pulled out a sidearm and shot the man on the ground five times.

Jonathan Ross—the ICE fascist who killed Renee Good—is an 18-year ICE veteran, firearms instructor, & active shooter trainer.

The people claiming "ICE needs more training" are missing the point. Ross's 2 DECADES of training IS what led him to execute Good. ICE Training IS the problem.

Abolish ICE.

I'm sorry folks, Ro Khanna is literally a cartoon villain himself.

He literally just this week refused to hold Bill Clinton in contempt of Congress for refusing to testify about Epstein.
Khanna: "I do think the Epstein issue is what most concerns Donald Trump ... Donald Trump knows this has broken into the culture. It's broken into the culture because he said he was gonna hold people accountable, hold the elites accountable, and now he and Pam Bondi are protecting the elites."

the angle mostly died out on "AI will make each person their ideal story/movie/game/song" but for anyone who never got the problem a major part of the value of media is we want a common thing to talk about. we spend more time talking about it than consuming it. if you're the only person who saw it 🤷

If every Democrat voted NO on funding ICE, it would not have passed the House. But, 7 House Democrats voted to fund Trump's lawless, masked goons, so it passed.

Hakeem Jeffries refused to whip his members to vote against ICE funding. Genuinely unforgivable.
NEW: DHS appropriations bill funding ICE passes 220-207

7 Democrats voted YES on the bill:
- Jared Golden
- Marie Gluesenkamp Perez
- Henry Cuellar
- Tom Suozzi
- Laura Gillen
- Don Davis
- Vicente Gonzalez

One Republican voted NO: Thomas Massie

Yall it’s year 1. I’ve tracked far-right law enforcement. This is something people have planned for. You think they don’t have plans for year 2 and 3?

One of the highest-testing messages is AOC’s message that Trump is cutting your health care to fund ICE’s violence. It’s quite easy to tell a unified story that resonates.
People are waving around 50/50 polling on abolish ICE and in the same poll Trump’s is like 30 points under water on affordability. It’s not at all crazy for professional politicians to think there’s a bigger advantage in talking about the latter!

Trump’s first choice for attorney general, folks
The House Ethics Committee found that Matt Gaetz did all of the horrible things previously claimed—sex trafficking minors, prostitution (including of minors), drugs, drunk driving, obstruction, the works. The Florida Bulldog has secured and published the House report this evening.

There is no "actually to remove Trump from office the solution is not to talk about Trump being removed from office."

That is not a thing. You want to remove him you push to remove him. Same for Abolishing ICE, passing universal health care, whatever. Push for the thing and don't censor yourself.

Nuanced take: I think it's really important to give *normal citizens* who supported Trump and off-ramp and *professional writers, pundits and politicians* who supported Trump should have to wear it like a scarlet letter for the rest of their lives
This is aggravating, because on the one hand I think it's really important to give fascists an off-ramp and positive reinforcement when they use it...

...on the other hand, FUCK that guy, in particular.

I guess we all realize that what Trump is doing to all of the blue state governors who were thought of as staunch resistors is the same thing he did to all of the Republicans in 2016 who wanted the presidential nomination.

Only 57 Democrats voted NO.

Wonder if she’s only saying this now to soften the blow of her voting to continue funding Israel genocide in Gaza today
Kristi Noem has been a complete and total failure at her job. She has violated her oath and has allowed ICE agents to terrorize our communities.

That’s why I’m joining @robinkelly.house.gov in calling for her impeachment.

We deserve better, she’s gotta go.

I still don’t see @crockett.house.gov name up there after all the
bloviating she did about how she was one of the only people who was serious about her oath to the country.
We are now up to fifteen clear calls for impeachment.

Rep. Robin Kelly IL-02
Rep. Maxine Dexter OR-03
Rep. Chellie Pingree ME-01
Rep. Melanie Stansbury NM-01
Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove CA-37
Rep. Kevin Mullin CA-15
Rep. Emily Randall WA-06
Rep. Sarah McBride DE-AL
Rep. Juan Vargas CA-52

To keep track of it all, we thought we’d thread all the House reps that have committed to impeaching Kristi Noem. The first was @robinkelly.house.gov
