A "fraction of a boat floating" is not how boats work.

The word he may have been looking for is "flotsam", which is the parts from the wreckage still floating on the water after a boat has sunk after being divided into multiple parts.

Not sure the US navy should consider flotsam a threat, though.
Van Orden: "As long as there was a fraction of that boat floating, it was a viable military target"

As a non-American, I'm baffled by why your President and Governors can pardon anybody.

Is there any other country that gives its elected leaders this sort of King-like power?

In Canada, if a jury of your peers convicts you, you remain convicted unless an appeal court intervenes, not a politician.
A president should not be able to pardon anyone convicted of murder or rape

Kyle Monangai and D'Andre Swift each rushed for 100 yards against the Eagles on Friday.

Here is every game where a team had two 100+ yard rushers since 2010.

Olympic curling dreams are on the line today in Halifax.

If Team Homan and Team Jacobs win their games today, they will represent Canada at the Olympics in February.

If Team Black or Team Dunstone win, we’re headed to a third and deciding game. Should be quite the day here.

It's remarkably easy to not take money from Russia

I was once offered a paid slot of Russia Today to promote a satirical comedy show of mine as long as I shit on the government

Even though I hated the government at the time, I wasn't going to take money from a dictatorial regime despite being poor

People are worried about leaving Twitter because their follower/engagement numbers will go down.

But how many of those are actual human beings using their own accounts? Not bots, actors, trolls, fakes?

No one I know still uses Twitter.
80% of Twitter's American First accounts are based outside of the United States.

Be careful what you wish for. Accountability would bite this administration hard.
Q: Is the president more determined now since the judge's ruling today to go after James Comey and Tish James?

LEAVITT: I wouldn't say he's 'going after' them. I think the president is more determined than ever to see accountability in this country.

What you would think is that competent lawyers would be appointed as Assistant Attorny General and Attorney General, but clearly not.
Well, the case against James Comey was effectively dismissed WITH PREJUDICE because it can't be brought again.

Pam Bondi allowed the statute of limitations to run while her illegitimate prosecutor was wasting everyone's time.

You would think an Assistant Attorney General at DOJ would know this.

Here we go with more curling here in Halifax. Men’s matchups on the ice:

Gushue vs Koe
Jacobs vs Kleiter
Epping vs McEwen
Dunstone vs McDonald

How will Jacobs respond after that opening loss to Koe? Every game so important at the Olympic trials
