Ilhan Omar for being "always wrapped in her swaddling hijab."This week, he's referred to reporters as "ugly," "stupid, and "piggy.” I know we've been witnessing this stuff for a decade now, but I think it's still worth pointing out that this behavior is unacceptable from the leader of our country. We wouldn't tolerate it from a friend, a colleague, or a child. The President thinks his insults make him look tough and strong. I'm not worried about folks with developmental disabilities or women who wear hijab or other groups who get made fun of by this man - these folks deserve our full support but honestly they have to deal with way tougher stuff than this daily. What I am worried about is the example this guy is setting for millions of people every day, for a decade now - and with each post, character and basic decency matter less and less. Whether your politics are liberal, conservative, moderate or anything else - we all deserve better.

The original Let It Die was famous for its absolutely amazing soundtrack. Akira Yamaoka went and got in touch with a HUNDRED of his favourite indie bands and commissioned each to do a track named 'let it die'. The result was borderline mystical.

Steam being a pseudo monopoly is complicated. It's obviously got downsides, but the AI disclosure requirement makes it so realistically everything releasing on PC has to disclose or risk getting banned right off the PC platform forever and it's the only way we'd find out about some of this shit.
