Huge celebrity in my house. I told my 13 year old daughter that you liked one of my skeets and she bragged to her friends about it. And I went to South during the Josh Hartnett and Rachel Leigh Cook time, so that’s really saying something.

Nice to see ESPN quote our New York Times story today.

But the big story here is this sentence:

"According to a report from Deloitte earlier this year, revenues are projected to top $1 billion this year."

If true, WNBA players are getting 2% of revenue!!!

Amid the WNBA Finals, two of the most powerful people in the game are locked in a contentious battle -- for public opinion, power and money.

There's a delicious irony in WNBA sources complaining about Unrivaled's role in CBA negotiations when the league exists in no small part because of the prioritization rules the WNBA insisted on during the current CBA. Be careful what you wish for ...

Finally an article that names the problem. There was a recent NYPost article that said the W needs to “find its Adam Silver.” We already have that guy and we don’t want him either.

The WNBPA has issued a statement re: Napheesa Collier's comments.

"The leaders of the league and its teams would benefit from listening to her powerful statement. The players know their value even if the league does not."

Anyone who brings up Phee and Unrivaled in the context of the CBA and trying to claim that they have a conflict of interest are just standing up for the billionaires. Stand with the Players.

Napheesa Collier's full statement at the beginning of her exit interview.

She directly quotes conversations with Cathy Englebert that legitimately call into question how the WNBA is being led. (Part 1/2) #WNBASky

She’s so strategic. I’d run through a wall for her and Cheryl right now.

Incredibly brave of Napheesa Collier to call out the flaws she sees in the W’s leadership in this way. She established herself as one of the most powerful voices and leaders in the league with Unrivaled and this is further proof of her willingness to publicly demand better.

I want to see every single player reposting this. Fine them all, Cathy. See where that gets you.
