Because striking back at systems isn't violence, it's resistance/defense.

Yes, they'll use whatever they can. They'll also say a nonviolent protest was violent. They'll also beat you and arrest you and then say you hit them first (as police traditionally have at protests). I'm not saying some actions won't be used against people, I'm saying that narrative happens anyway.

Unfortunate update: Link reached out to BlueSky and got email back now on reason.

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

Well just when I was feeling okay, I got the court hearing notice that I have to pay $5.7k in order to keep my home (not including what I owe already and paid today).

Here's the proof and court is the 16th of October.

This morning HSI raided a construction site in the North End and took every single worker. I am in direct communication with neighbors, Representative Hollins, the Chief of Police, and COPAL who is a leader in the Immigrant Defense Network. I know that SPPD and Ram Co Sheriffs were NOT present.
Neighbors demanded the agents to identify themselves and they did not, leaving neighbors feeling confused who was present or if it was SPPD. I want to be very clear, Saint Paul Police officers will always identify themselves when asked. This is our policy. They will also be easily identified.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.
