All AI is built on theft, there’s no way to use it that isn’t theft. Using it for inspiration is billionaire-enriching theft. Using it for edits is billionaire-enriching theft. Using it for memes is billionaire-enriching theft.

Y’all called me hysterical but now we can all see that I was in fact significantly underestimating the fucking danger, so it’s time to eat your crow and also my entire ass.

Y'know that Guardian article which cited an anonymous friend of Tyler Robinson claiming he was the only "leftist" in his family?

It just got updated after the "verified source" decided he couldn't remember his "relationship" with the accused shooter well enough to be quoted

I'm sure we've all heard the old saying, but it bears repeating:

The best time to have hired etsy witches was ten years ago.

The second best time is today.

"Political violence" is a term that exists to suggest a moral distinction between "violence against politicians" and "violence by politicians" - so that one can be condemned while the other can be normalized. Obviously, no such distinction exists in reality: violence is violence.

It used to be that people feared violence because the status quo kept us all collectively safe. Now we all live at the whims of executive orders. There is nothing to lose and so nothing to mourn.

Got a post removed cuz I said that if the situation were reversed the white house would have posted an AI ASMR video of the shooting. I maintain that this is nonthreatening and demonstrably the truth.

The fact that people will cast dash and then jump twenty feet OVER my other characters just to get to him. His squishiness is an irresistable aura.
My current strategy is to give him a shield that allows a counterattack as a reaction and then plant him inside Shadowheart's radiant hula hoop.

Signage around the Department of Defense offices were quickly changed to “Department of War” to match President Donald Trump’s rebrand of the organization, including Secretary Pete Hegseth’s nameplate.

This gets progressively funnier with every use of the term "floppy".
One of Britain’s most senior police officers has launched an angry tirade against Extinction Rebellion protesters going “all floppy” when they get arrested.

Sir Stephen House, the deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan police, said the tactic of going limp was a “flipping nuisance” as it required extra officers to drag protesters away.

House told a London assembly police and crime committee hearing: “We have asked them to stop being floppy. And that might seem like a silly thing to say, but when we arrest them and pick them up, they go all floppy, which is why you see four or five officers carrying them away. It’s a complete waste of officers’ time, and a complete pain in the neck.”

House also expressed annoyance at how the tactic made the police look heavy-handed. He said: “The problem with them going floppy and four offices carrying them away [is that it] looks to the general public like police are overreacting here. We’re not making them go floppy. They’re just sort of being a nuisance.”

At this point my 10-year plan is "I hope the people who invade us to put a stop to our war crimes are kinder toward civilians than we are."
