Stopped watching when 60min ran a puff piece on Epstein funded George Church at a very useful moment.
MY LATEST: The “60 Minutes” we have known is dead. The fearless program that many of us grew up with was strangled by corporate titans seeking favor with the Trump White House. I don’t know what is next for the storied franchise, but it will never be the same. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/60-m...

[email protected] "has long been a staunch opponent of Trump....when Trump’s mass deportation agenda literally showed up outside his office, his involvement escalated, with his office becoming the headquarters for a legal operation that has secured the release of nine ICE detainees."
This spring, @repdangoldman.bsky.social went to work and “saw a dozen masked ICE agents in the lobby” of his office building.

He has since turned that office into the headquarters for a legal operation that has secured the release of nine ICE detainees.

Yet another great day to wish our fellow Americans a Happy We Re-elected a Criminal Rather Than A Lady Day
Five years ago today, Trump summoned a mob to Washington, DC for a “protest” on Jan. 6, 2021, tweeting: “Be there, will be wild!”

Rightwing extremists began planning for violence almost immediately.

David Brooks was at Edge dinners Epstein paid for. John Brockman always had photos of the dinners. Lots of press were at them. You can see everyone in them looking up edge.org in the internet archive.

Gentile white Americans simply voted the same way they have since the Voting Rights Act: for the GOP.
January 6 was like a much dumber version of Hitler’s Beer Hall Putsch and yet a plurality of American voters were like, Yeah, let’s give that guy the nuke codes again. An absolutely world historical debacle of societal ignorance. I’ll never understand it.

Leon Black of Apollo Global Management; business partner of Josh Harris. That firm that loaned Kushner Companies $184 million in 2017?

The firm who own Constellis, the security company Graham Platner worked for in 2016.

If only there had been any evidence of him shaking down state lawmakers of his own party to "find" him votes in 2020
This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

Dan Goldman was lead counsel for House Dems during the 1st impeachment inquiry, introduced a bill to place a 20% excise tax on loans & lines of credit backed by capital assets, has secured 160 million to improve NYC’s climate resiliency, & is a great “fighter” & messenger. This is a waste of time.
