The EHRC is consulting on its belief that it's right to exclude women and men who are trans from women and men’s groups and spaces.

I've just shared my response. Will you add yours?

So then Elon goes "Kill the Bill!" and Trump goes "Elon has TDS!" so Elon goes "I'm the reason Trump won!" so Trump goes "we waste billions on Elon!" so Elon goes "Epstein!" and a corpulent flunkie goes "Deport Elon!" and Elon goes "Impeach!"

And THAT'S why women are too emotional to be President.

To mark the 1st day of my 4th year without Alice I have an announcement:
I’ve joined up with a determined group of women working to change the narrative around trans people. Women standing in solidarity with our trans siblings.

Our first step is to ask cis women to read and sign our open letter ⬇️
Not in our name: Women in support of the trans+ community
Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

That Giuffre’s name is not forever linked to Trump and Mar a Lago is another piece of evidence for how broken our media is, how feckless the Democrats are, and how Teflon Trump is.

Nearly over, but highly recommend this exhibition. Harrowing, but with many glimmers of hope. Maida 10 and Marwa 7 whose father secretly educates girls, or the three girls in Banyan secretly rehearsing their circus skills stuck with me.

Living in Switzerland, my daughter was in school in the uk. I had rising sense of panic as boarders closed. There was a total disconnect between leaving a deserted Zurich airport (everyone masked), arriving in London and travelling on a crowded tube where few were wearing masks. #fiveyearson
I would really really love to hear other people's notes/strong memories about the specifics of this. I feel like we were all in such trauma that the memories have vanished fast, leaving a blanket of "oh god yuck awful" which isn't helpful for understanding how it's affected us.

#fiveyearson
I have this feeling that over the next few weeks I might like to note and mark what I was doing five years ago. Because it is big and real and still feels incredibly present in our lives.

I'll use the hashtag #fiveyearson which as far as I can tell is only used about Covid. Do mute if you need.

Empathy, like love, is not a zero-sum game. In fact I would argue that the more you allow yourself to feel, the more you are capable of feeling.

There’s enough sorrow to share. Enough empathy to go around.
