I used to just write poems. Now I illustrate them too and turn them into comics. You can buy my first one here: https://ko-fi.com/s/943b7dfafd

you know this guy is a FOR REAL photographer because he's telling the story of his brutal, unconditional arrest by federal goons and can't help but slip in a gear review
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

I'm not going to defend Iran's regime but there's absolutely no doubt US and Israel would amplify unrest. That's one of their fav strategies.

After contacting other orgs, to our knowledge, no trans led groups or stakeholders were contacted. This continues the EHRC's trend of Chairs of the EHRC not meeting with any trans people, as per previous FOIs

If there's one thing I hate in this world, it's the white man's "peace" that is absent of justice. It's the white man's peace that demands that BIPOC who are subjected to brutal exploitation and oppression under capitalist and white supremacist systems, go suffer in silence, so there can be "peace."

I’m starting to wonder if looking genuinely happy and acting like you really love the city is a more effective way to campaign (and govern) than scowling about what a shithole the city is and how many more cops it will take to subdue it.
Outside Gracie Mansion. This is his job. But dare I day it he seems genuinely affected and happy to be there. There’s potentially immense power in that.

Labour voters saying 'Oh would you rather Reform? 😏' is a total non-argument. Not only is Starmer a Farage tribute act, quite simply:

Labour are not capable of beating Reform.

Like Bastani & the rest of the Novara crew its been obv since at the v latest her book promotion tour, Sarkar is on a lifelong quest to be taken seriously by political media class centrists & is totally chill fucking over some vulnerable groups in the hope of a pat on the head from a Times columnist
Totally agree though I'm not sure this is just a centrist position. On Novara Media's end-of-2025 review, Ash Sarkar spoke of the need to avoid 'low-salience & low levels of support' issues like trans rights in order to build coalitions, but leaving minorities behind is a depressing message.

It's disturbing in the extreme to hear the Today programme presenter move from enabling a Tory shadow minister's Islamophobic conspiracy theories to asking him leading questions about whether Kemi Badenoch's Tory party is transphobic and by implication homophobic enough?

When the fact that Tories used to attend Stonewall Award ceremonies and other LGBTQIA+ is being used by the BBC as a stick with which to beat them, I think we need to worry.
