I used to just write poems. Now I illustrate them too and turn them into comics. You can buy my first one here: https://ko-fi.com/s/943b7dfafd

Keir Starmer did everything he could to be US poodle and his strategy has ended in total humiliation. Both him and Farage are puppets of a hostile foreign nation.

It's obvious that if someone is a bully - you don't just keep appeasing them.

Disastrous strategy by Labour.

"Fact check everything first" says some dumbass Labour supporter denying, or oblivious to, the genuine harms and policies of Keir Starmer and his government, and also believes he is going to rejoin the EU
I suggest you do your research. Starmer is poles apart from farage. Your views is what the media wants you to believe. Fact check everything first. Starmer is playing the long game he and his government are working hard to rectify abuse from the tories. Why do you think there is bad publicity?

I just want to say how much I am enjoying Sir Kier Starmer, a truly repulsive individual, living an utterly miserable life.

To be clear: Farage is a creature of the press, not a political mastermind. His star rises and falls entirely based on his use to the world's most toxic press. They could pull him completely apart in a week if they wanted to, but they don't.
Sure Jan.
As a domestic politics side-note, the madder Donald Trump gets (and it’s seemingly a one-way process) then the more awkward things become for Nigel Farage. One of the facts many UK voters know about him is his fondness for, and supposed closeness to, the US president.

Do pro-trans voters decide elections now? Seems like parties should maybe stop putting forward transphobes in that case

It’s really funny as a miserable lesbian to see people look at a miserable lesbian and go “seems problematic…” No bitch! Miserable lesbians are the backbone of society! Nothing works without us! Give us grenades and heroin!
Pluribus reddit discourse is so funny. “Are we supposed to root for Carol” you are supposed to watch how her character interacts with the world “she’s very unlikable” wow that’s crazy can they do that

I know this isn't an original thought but it'd be insane decribe the presence of any other type of woman other than trans women as "violating [women's] dignity" or creating a "hostile, humiliating and degrading environment".

Literally just swap "trans" for anything else. It's discrimination.

I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

you know this guy is a FOR REAL photographer because he's telling the story of his brutal, unconditional arrest by federal goons and can't help but slip in a gear review
Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

If there's one thing I hate in this world, it's the white man's "peace" that is absent of justice. It's the white man's peace that demands that BIPOC who are subjected to brutal exploitation and oppression under capitalist and white supremacist systems, go suffer in silence, so there can be "peace."

I’m starting to wonder if looking genuinely happy and acting like you really love the city is a more effective way to campaign (and govern) than scowling about what a shithole the city is and how many more cops it will take to subdue it.
Outside Gracie Mansion. This is his job. But dare I day it he seems genuinely affected and happy to be there. There’s potentially immense power in that.

Labour voters saying 'Oh would you rather Reform? 😏' is a total non-argument. Not only is Starmer a Farage tribute act, quite simply:

Labour are not capable of beating Reform.

Like Bastani & the rest of the Novara crew its been obv since at the v latest her book promotion tour, Sarkar is on a lifelong quest to be taken seriously by political media class centrists & is totally chill fucking over some vulnerable groups in the hope of a pat on the head from a Times columnist
Totally agree though I'm not sure this is just a centrist position. On Novara Media's end-of-2025 review, Ash Sarkar spoke of the need to avoid 'low-salience & low levels of support' issues like trans rights in order to build coalitions, but leaving minorities behind is a depressing message.

It's disturbing in the extreme to hear the Today programme presenter move from enabling a Tory shadow minister's Islamophobic conspiracy theories to asking him leading questions about whether Kemi Badenoch's Tory party is transphobic and by implication homophobic enough?
