The reason EV range (and gas mileage) go down so much when you drive faster is because, when you drive twice as fast, you hit twice as many molecules AND you hit each of those molecules with twice as much force, which means drag increases exponentially.

Please enjoy this cutest tiny visitor that we discovered built a nest in our backyard. I’m going to chalk this up to the perennial salvia I planted in the front garden specifically for the bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. 🦉

Shoebill = life. Duck = me.
One of my very favorite photosets is a shoebill picking up a duck and tossing it out of the way, largely because of the look of *utter* dismay on the duck's face in the last pic.

Main character energy is OUT, this summer we’re bringing NPC energy. We’re posted up at the bar dropping lore and suggesting side quests. We’re leaning casually near a locked door and saying “I don’t think you have the key for that” when someone tries the handle. We’re staring at a tree.

It’s 2025 and we are just now recognizing that “women’s pain should be treated.”?????

I kinda feel like we should have a Black Monday watch party or something. Like when you see the tornado touch down and there’s fuck all you can do, so you all hang out on the porch and rate the flying cows like Olympic gymnasts.

I just binged Dimension 20’s Neverafter in a week and I don’t know what to do with myself now that it’s done.

It’s that empty unsettled feeling when you’ve finished a great book and you’re not ready to leave the story.

Very proud to know the longest someone has held the Senate floor in US history is in defense of the Constitution, not segregation. ❤️

Hi, you're probably doomscrolling. There's a lot of it lately. But everything is harder when you're sleep-deprived, dehydrated and tired. You still deserve time to rest and recover.

Writers, you might be struggling rn.

Math might help.

No, seriously.

If you write 300 (around a page) words a day, you will have an 80k book in 267 days. Less than a year.

If it's 200 words, it will take a little more than a year.

Doing it slowly is still doing it. 💪
