I have tried for most of my life to like playing Chess. I'm ready now to admit that I hate it and was really only enamored with the aesthetics of the chess board. I think the pieces are very pretty and I like the whole vibe. The game itself? No. No, thank you.

I was 17 when I came out in 2000. I'm 42 now. I came from a very religious family and it didn't go well for me at first. Was sent to change therapy briefly. I found solace in the support of a couple close friends.

Came out at 16, I’m 40 now. It was such a unique time (2002) for the “underage scene” in Chicagoland. We had the internet to connect us but were still pretty invisible to outsiders. I made friends at other schools and (1/5)

Came out to friends at 18, but to my mom and family at 30(!) only cuz I wanted to bring my bf at the time to thanksgiving. He came, had a blast, then dumped me for someone else a month later while I was vacationing in PV 💀🤡
