First CES panel. Intuit CMO Thomas Ranese is proud of his company's integration with OpenAI, which involves giving AI read/write access to tax data. Since prompt injection attacks are unavoidable, I asked him who will be liable when customer data is exposed: Intuit, OpenAI, etc?

He had no idea.

It's funny that if you're from any country in Europe, Asia, or Africa, you can be called European, Asian , or African, respectively. However, you can only be American if you are from the United States of America.

Everything this administration does is explained by the simple idea that they believe America should only be populated by the world's wealthiest and most powerful people, and only their most loyal/docile/amicable supporters.

Feel like it shld be front page, 34-sized font headline news that the person who gave ~$250 million to Trump campaign and then was co-president for a few months, dismantling agencies and stealing Americans' data, built an AI tool that is being used for child porn.

This Sept. piece is instructive

One of my first memories was when we (America) did Desert Storm. My parents had CNN on with live shots of Baghdad being bombed. I think we were cooking because a smoke alarm went off. I got scared and started crying because I thought what was happening on the TV was happening nearby.

The comedy of all this is that Nicolas Maduro kinda looks like a guy that could have made a career on the Las Vegas Strip taking photos with tourists dressed as Saddam Hussein.

Like, if this is for real... holy shit. The balls of sending in troops like this knowing Venezuela's one strength is having thousands of shoulder launched anti-air missiles deployed to its troops.
Video rolling in of pretty massive airstrikes across Venezuela, plus low-flying helicopters which *appear* to be American.
